Xchanging focuses its services around the engineering Bill of Material. By executing end-to-end Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, we optimize the impact of time and costs on the evolving Bill of Material throughout the product lifecycle.

We enable the initial data conversion of engineering products by applying Computer Aided Design (CAD) software to create 2D product plans, drawings and blueprints. With the further application of Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) software or Computer Fluid Dynamics (CFD) technology, we migrate the data to full 3D modeling applications for virtual testing and simulation.

The efficient development of testing software impacts the Bill of Material across the product lifecycle. By enabling Destructive Testing, for example, designs and materials can be tested early and quickly in the product development phase and changed or amended as required, without the time and expense of physical testing, whilst maintaining the assurance and reliability required to meet regulatory standards. Similarly, subsequent product or component changes can be thoroughly tested within the context of the entire Bill of Material including all associated project dependencies.
