Xchanging sponsors inaugural Lord Mayor’s Pitch Perfect Awards

LONDON, 29 September 2010 – Xchanging plc (LSE:XCH), a large, fast-growing global business processor is sponsoring the inaugural Lord Mayor’s Pitch Perfect Awards at Plaisterers’ Hall on Thursday 30 September, 2010.
Pitch Perfect is the name of this year’s Lord Mayor’s Appeal, which is raising funds to support the charitable work of the London Symphony Orchestra and the Cricket Foundation. Through their educational programmes, On Track and StreetChance, both organisations provide dynamic musical and cricketing opportunities to young people in their schools and communities in London’s most challenging boroughs. Having identified a shared ambition to enhance the lives of young people, the two organisations have joined forces under the banner of the Appeal to create Pitch Perfect.
The inaugural Pitch Perfect awards for music and cricket will be presented to two individuals who have made an incredible personal contribution to music and cricket. The awards will be held at Plaisterers’ Hall in the City of London on 30 September 2010 with more than 250 people expected to attend. Present at the awards will be Principal LSO clarinettist, Andrew Marriner, and leading international cricketer, Alastair Cook.
