Xchanging appoints head of European Financial Services

LONDON, 25 May 2008 – Xchanging, the business process outsourcing (BPO) company, is delighted to announce that Matthias Sohler (39), will be joining Xchanging as Head of European Financial Services. As such he will be a member of the Xchanging Management Board. In this capacity Matthias will spearhead the development of Xchanging’s business with the banking, insurance, asset management and exchanges for the European financial services industry.
Matthias Sohler brings more than 16 years of banking and business processing experience in financial services industries. In the last 3 years, as a member of the HVB management board, he has successfully led the Unicredit / HVB integration for Global Banking Services and IT. From 2007, he was also a member of the Executive Committee responsible for the Unicredit Group operating model and Group cost management.
Previously Matthias held management and board member positions in Dresdner Bank and DAB Bank. Matthias holds a number of supervisory board roles in the financial services and consulting industry.
