Xchanging Ins-sure Services awarded OAMPS Ltd Back-Office Contract

03 May 2002

London, UK - May 2002 - Xchanging Ins-sure Services, has won the contract to set up and run the London Market back-office of Australian-based OAMPS Ltd.

OAMPS, which has been given approval by Lloyd's to operate under the title of 'Provisionally Accredited Lloyd's Broker', will bring new business to the Lloyd's market and has chosen to outsource its back-office functions to Xchanging Ins-sure Services enabling OAMPS brokers to concentrate on placing business and managing client relationships.

David Wyner, chief operating officer of OAMPS Insurance Brokers says: "The decision to utilise the Xchanging Ins-sure Services infrastructure was not a difficult one. The capabilities of this excellent back-office arrangement will make the transaction of business with Lloyd's much simpler for our operatives. It will allow them to better utilise their valuable time (which otherwise would have been spent attending to administrative issues) actually generating and introducing business. We could not have entered the Lloyd's arena as confidently as we have without the knowledge that Xchanging was there behind us providing such capable support."

John Benjamin, Managing Director, Xchanging ins-sure services says: "We are beginning to see signs of a shift in the approach to managing back-office operations in the London Market. Momentum for outsourcing the back office is gathering as companies are recognising the value to be gained from freeing themselves from back-office administration"
