Xchanging Hosts The 2010 London Market Conference

25 Nov 2010

LONDON, 25 November 2010: Xchanging (LSE: XCH), one of the largest and fastest growing global business processors will today host the 2010 Xchanging London Market Conference, in partnership with The Insurance Insider.  The event takes place in the prestigious surroundings of the Mansion House, in the heart of the City of London.

For over a decade, the Xchanging conference has been a pivotal date in the calendar for high level discussions, debate and the sharing of ideas on issues affecting the London market. The 2010 conference sees the event move from Brighton to London. It is expected to be attended by over 300 leading executives operating in the London market.

There is a genuine recognition that London has to continue improving and reinventing itself, if it is to remain a compelling magnet for global P&C business.

The conference theme – "Keeping London competitive" – is a universal one, but arguably more valid now than ever before. Breakout sessions will include particularly topical themes such as attracting capital, claims, solvency II and process reform.

Speakers include, founder and CEO of Xchanging David Andrews, political commentator, former cabinet minister and television broadcaster Michael Portillo, former head of the British Army General Sir Richard Dannatt, Lloyd’s CEO Richard Ward, Stephen Catlin, founder and CEO of Catlin and Denis Kessler, CEO of SCOR to name but a few.
