Xchanging Appoints Operations Director, Insurance Services

Xchanging, the UK’s leading pure-play business process outsourcing (BPO) company, has appointed Peter George operations director, insurance services.
Mr George (41) was recruited for his experience in large-scale process improvement and quality management. He was formerly European managing director and senior vice president of international operations at Textron Fastening Systems Ltd, prior to which he spent 19 years with the Ford Motor Company.
“Momentum is growing in the insurance industry for improvement in the back-office environment,” says Mr George. “We are moving rapidly to transform these costs centres into world-class operations capable of delivering significant and sustainable increases in productivity and profitability.”
