Frankfurt/London, 24 July 2003 - Xchanging Ltd., a London-based, market-leading specialist for Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), has appointed Johannes Maret (52) as a non-executive Director to its board effective 22 July 2003. Maret will strengthen the now seven strong board of Xchanging, which brings together internationally experienced managers.
"Johannes Maret is a perfect complement to our board", said Xchanging founder and CEO, David Andrews. "He has comprehensive knowledge in the outsourcing area and is very familiar with the German market."

Johannes Maret has many years of experience in international management, including positions for a leading management organization as managing director of their German business and as a member of numerous management committees (1991-1996). From 1996 to 2002, he was a partner with Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie. KgaA, where he held the post of Chief Financial Officer as well as being responsible for investment banking and administration. He implemented two outsourcing projects during this time: IT for EDS and securities management for European Transaction Bank (ETB). He was a member of the supervisory board at ETB until the end of 2002. As Non-Executive Chairman of the investment committee of Triton Funds, Johannes Maret is also active in the private equity market. He is Managing Partner of Nordwind Capital, a private equity fund specialising in restructuring.
