Management team

He joined Xchanging in 2002 where he was responsible for business development. Joerg was one of the main drivers for the successful execution of the Xchanging Transaction Bank Enterprise Partnership transaction with Deutsche Bank and he played a leading role in securing Xchanging's second Enterprise Partnership in Germany with Allianz Global Investors in 2007. Joerg also held various senior management positions within Xchanging in Germany, including the role of Finance and Commercial Director for Continental Europe. In 2009, he took the responsibility of Corporate Development Director for Xchanging Group in London, focusing on commercial governance and major business development initiatives.

Before joining Xchanging, Joerg was a member of Deutsche Bank's Corporate Finance M&A in their London office. Prior to this, Joerg held a number of banking and corporate finance positions with Dresdner Kleinwort and Dresdner Bank in London, Luxembourg, New York and Buenos Aires.

Joerg holds a master of science in finance from London Business School.

Andreas joined Xchanging in 2004. His role as Head of Relations in Germany and later Group Head of Relations, involved the positioning of the Xchanging service offering in target market segments; and the identification and qualification of business opportunities. Moreover, he has been responsible for the relationship management for potential customers.

Andreas brings more than 30 years experience in Investment Banking and Asset Management firms in management positions with J.P.Morgan, Morgan Stanley, and HypoVereinsbank.

James has been working for Xchanging since 2009, most recently as Head of Group Internal Audit and Quality. In this context, he worked with some of Xchanging’s largest customers, such as BAE Systems, Lloyd’s and Aon. He also supported the Group Finance team in various projects.

Prior to his role at Xchanging, he worked as Group Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers with a key focus on revenue and cash management, financial planning and people and change management. James also advised global companies on financial reporting and operational improvements.

James is a Chartered Accountant.

In this function, he is responsible for the definition and execution of our strategy and corporate development. Moreover, he is accountable for innovation management as well as commercial contract management, business case assessment & pricing and the management of M&A and business development projects.

Axel has been working for Xchanging since 2005, initially as business development manager and since 2007 as Head of Commercial Continental Europe.

Previously, Axel worked as a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Finance for four years with responsibility for M&A projects, strategy projects and restructuring projects for German and European customers in the IT, telecommunication and media sector.

Axel holds a degree in business administration and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
